Getting Started with Calling

The calling feature lets you make and receive calls directly from the platform using your business phone number.

Making Your First Call

  • Go to Conversations or open a contact
  • Click the Phone icon
  • The dialer will appear
  • Click Call to connect

Where You Can Make Calls

  • Conversations: Click the phone icon on any conversation
  • Contact Profile: Use the call button on a contact's page
  • Dialer: Access the standalone dialer to call any number

Receiving Calls

When someone calls your business number:

  • You'll see an incoming call notification
  • Click Answer to accept
  • Click Decline to send to voicemail

Where You'll See Calls

  • Browser notification (if enabled)
  • Mobile app (if installed)
  • Desktop app (if installed)

During a Call

While on a call, you can:

  • Mute: Turn off your microphone
  • Hold: Put the caller on hold
  • Keypad: Access the dialpad for menu options
  • End Call: Hang up

Call Quality Tips

For the best call experience:

  • Use a headset for better audio
  • Ensure stable internet connection
  • Close other apps using bandwidth
  • Find a quiet location

Browser Permissions

For calling to work in your browser:

  • Allow microphone access when prompted
  • Allow notifications for incoming calls
  • Keep the tab open or use the desktop app
