Voicemail Management

Voicemails are captured when calls go unanswered, so you never miss important messages.

Accessing Voicemails

Voicemails appear in several places:

  • Conversations: As part of the conversation thread
  • Call History: Marked with a voicemail icon
  • Notifications: You may receive alerts for new voicemails

Listening to Voicemails

  • Find the voicemail in conversations or call history
  • Click the Play button
  • Use controls to pause, skip, or replay

Voicemail Details

Each voicemail shows:

  • Caller: Who left the message
  • Date/Time: When it was received
  • Duration: Length of the message
  • Transcription: Text version (if available)

Voicemail Transcription

Many voicemails include automatic transcription:

  • Read the message without listening
  • Search voicemails by content
  • Quick scan of what the message is about

Note: Transcription accuracy varies based on audio quality and accents.

Responding to Voicemails

After listening:

  • Call back: Click the call button
  • Send a text: Reply via SMS if they prefer
  • Send an email: Use email if appropriate

Managing Voicemails

  • Mark as read: Clear new voicemail notifications
  • Delete: Remove voicemails you no longer need
  • Save/Star: Mark important messages

Voicemail Greeting

Your voicemail greeting is what callers hear. It typically includes:

  • Your name or business name
  • Request to leave a message
  • Expected callback timeframe

Contact your admin if you need to change your greeting.
