Voicemail Management
Voicemails are captured when calls go unanswered, so you never miss important messages.
Accessing Voicemails
Voicemails appear in several places:
- Conversations: As part of the conversation thread
- Call History: Marked with a voicemail icon
- Notifications: You may receive alerts for new voicemails
Listening to Voicemails
- Find the voicemail in conversations or call history
- Click the Play button
- Use controls to pause, skip, or replay
Voicemail Details
Each voicemail shows:
- Caller: Who left the message
- Date/Time: When it was received
- Duration: Length of the message
- Transcription: Text version (if available)
Voicemail Transcription
Many voicemails include automatic transcription:
- Read the message without listening
- Search voicemails by content
- Quick scan of what the message is about
Note: Transcription accuracy varies based on audio quality and accents.
Responding to Voicemails
After listening:
- Call back: Click the call button
- Send a text: Reply via SMS if they prefer
- Send an email: Use email if appropriate
Managing Voicemails
- Mark as read: Clear new voicemail notifications
- Delete: Remove voicemails you no longer need
- Save/Star: Mark important messages
Voicemail Greeting
Your voicemail greeting is what callers hear. It typically includes:
- Your name or business name
- Request to leave a message
- Expected callback timeframe
Contact your admin if you need to change your greeting.
