Sending Messages & Replies

Communicating with your clients is easy from the Conversations inbox.

Replying to Messages

  • Click on a conversation in the left panel
  • Type your reply in the message composer at the bottom
  • Press Enter or click Send

Choosing the Channel

If a contact has multiple communication channels, you can choose which to use:

  • Click the channel dropdown next to the message input
  • Select SMS, Email, or another available channel
  • Your message will be sent via that channel

Starting a New Conversation

  • Click the + New button at the top
  • Search for an existing contact or enter a new number/email
  • Choose your communication channel
  • Type and send your message

Message Templates

Save time with pre-written templates:

  • Click the Templates icon in the composer
  • Browse or search for a template
  • Click to insert the template text
  • Customize if needed, then send

Merge Fields

Templates can include merge fields like:

  • {{contact.first_name}} - Inserts the contact's first name
  • {{contact.email}} - Inserts their email
  • {{user.name}} - Inserts your name

Sending Attachments

Images & Files

  • Click the attachment icon (paperclip)
  • Select a file from your computer
  • The file will upload and be included with your message

Supported File Types

  • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF
  • Documents: PDF (some limitations)
  • File size limits apply based on the channel

Email Specifics

When sending emails:

  • Add a Subject Line (required)
  • Use the rich text editor for formatting
  • Attach files up to 25MB
  • Add CC/BCC recipients if needed
