Setting Your Availability
Your availability settings control when clients can book appointments with you.
Finding Availability Settings
- Go to Calendars
- Click on the specific calendar you want to edit
- Look for Availability or Working Hours
Setting Regular Hours
Define your standard working hours:
Example Setup
- Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Saturday: Unavailable
- Sunday: Unavailable
Setting Hours
- Click on each day
- Set start and end times
- Toggle days on/off
- Save your changes
Buffer Time
Add buffer time between appointments:
- Before: Time to prepare before each meeting
- After: Time to wrap up after each meeting
Example: 15-minute buffer after each appointment
Minimum Scheduling Notice
Prevent last-minute bookings:
- Set minimum hours/days notice required
- Example: "Appointments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance"
Maximum Days in Advance
Limit how far ahead people can book:
- Prevents bookings too far in the future
- Example: "Book up to 60 days in advance"
Blocking Time Off
For vacations or time off:
- Find Block Time or Time Off option
- Select the date range
- Add a reason (optional)
- Save
This time will show as unavailable to anyone trying to book.
Tips for Availability
- Be realistic: Don't overbook yourself
- Add buffers: Give yourself breathing room
- Block focus time: Reserve time for non-meeting work
- Review regularly: Update as your schedule changes
